IN THE WATER
After hiking the same trail for awhile the vision expands or narrows depending on the mood…blades of grass or branches of trees are recognized as beauty on their own…in this case it is what is in the water….there is a whole little world that exists in the creek…
FALL COLORS 3
Still on the trail along Little Butte Creek

I love the lava flows…this is on highway 140 to KIamath Falls

And a ranch near a place called Odessa which pretty much just contains a general store and a lodge! Beautiful aspen groves along 140

And this mountain side is across from Klamath Lake

I have been meaning to stop along the road to see what this was and I finally did a fatal accident marker? that someone put a lot of work into…the road was widened in places and it was thrown aside or maybe the road workers were annoyed that it had been put up with concrete…

out of focus but I thought I would put this in anyway it is the head of the bear that was attached to the marker… the body of the stuffed bear lies not far away.

and the sun sets.

FALL COLORS
Most of these were taken at Little Butte Creek…took film into Costco….haven’t scanned the Montana photos yet…I need a whole day just to scan!!!
these first photos were taken along 140 to Klamath Falls

FISH LAKE AND LITTLE BUTTE CREEK II
I guess this is left over from building the reservoir

Mt.McLaughlin peeking through the trees

Not sure what this is for…

on top of the reservoir

all of the different shades of berries remind me of something my grandmother would have embroidered on a pillowcase!

taking a water break.

pretty

more pretty

nothing like being surrounded by beauty to calm the mind.

this was so tranquil

the homeowners association apparently are falling asleep on the job as the trail needs a lot of attention!

FISH LAKE AND LITTLE BUTTE CREEK
I took a much needed hike in nature. I had a lot of things to sort out and contemplate. There is nothing like surrounding myself in the perfection of nature the problem is when I have to go…but even looking at the pictures brings back the gentle reminders…this is just one of those rare days when I have nothing to say.
There are fires burning so many pictures do not have a blue sky depending on the direction. The mountain in the photos is Mount McLaughlin. Fish lake is actually a reservoir.

RAIN IN KLAMATH FALLS
More like a monsoon it was!! Still I stopped in the mountains between Fish Lake and North Fork Campground where there is plenty of trails to explore to do a bit of sissy hiking. It had stopped raining but I was drenched by the time I was done!
